Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is dedicated to reaching out to
those in need within our own community and beyond. We share Christ's
Love with many organizations, such as; World Vision, Meals On Wheels,
PADS, World Hunger causes and local food pantries, Narcotics Anonymous,
Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts, Christian Fellowship Flock West

The Sunday School children began sponsoring Trasius Nsama, a little child in Zambia in March of 1997. They share their Sunday School offerings and bake sales throughout the year to help support Trasius. Learn more about Trasius.

Help deliver meals to those in need. Contact the Addison Park District (630) 833-0100 or the Addison Township Admin office (630) 530-8161 to find out more about the Meals on Wheels program in our community.

10K Hunger Walk

The 10K Hunger Walk is held the first Sunday each November. Prince of Peace and other local churches collect pledges for this event. Monies collected are divided between the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's (ELCA) World Hunger projects and local food pantries.

If you would like to pledge or would like to join the walkers, please contact the coordinator for this event.
