You have probably heard the saying  that all roads lead to Rome. Well, it's TRUE!!!! Our very own Prince of Peace choir has found the road! Well, the road to Verona, Italy, anyway.

Our PoP Choir has received an invitation to sing in Italy in March of 2008.  We would be leaving the Tuesday after Easter to sing in Verona with choirs from around the world. 

We would like to invite anyone who would like to sing with us or to be part of our cheering squad to join us for this wonderful event.  We need a minimum of 30 people to take the trip; not all of the 30 need to be part of the choral presentation, we also need clappers, whistlers, and foot stompers- a VERY important job.

If you would like to sing with us in Italy, joining us for rehearsals on Wednesday nights is mandatory and we highly encourage you to sing with the choir Sunday mornings on a regular basis for the duration of the time we will be practicing for the trip. 

The trip includes airfare from an eastern airport- New York, Boston, etc., 4 nights in Verona, 4 dinners and breakfasts, a tour of Venice, and the opportunity of a lifetime. You would get to hear and cheer for your church choir singing in the Teatro Nuovo and in a Roman Arena. You also have the opportunity to stay longer in Italy if you would like to. 

The cost will be approximately $2,000 per person for the 4 days and we will be holding fundraisers to help defray the cost to the choir.
